Sharp Aquos LC32D62U, i had a ps3 wonder if the tv is 1.2 will 1.3 cable make a difference, also can you check if my tv is 1.2 or 1.3?

Costco has this 32″ LCD tv on sale for $649.99. Would this be a good tv? I don’t have cable, I just want to use it to play plain ol’ DVD’s. What do you think?

hi i have a 52 inch flat screen sharp aquous tv and im trying to hook up my laptop to it via a svga cable thats the one with the green blue and red cords that hook up to the tv and the other end is a hook up to the laptop. i tried but i dont get picture or sound is the svga cable the right kind to use?

The TV is less than 2 years old and I have noticed that there are what looks to be burn-in marks or bleed-through spots on the sides of the screen where some shows use the black bars on the sides if the show is not in widescreen (or something like that). Does anyone know what this is and what needs to be done to correct the problem? Thanks!

I went to sharpusa.com to check if this TV has HD tuner built-in but I don’t understand the specs. One of the spec is “Tuning System: 8VSB (ATSC)/QAM/NTSC”, what does that mean?

I have a line going thru the middle of the screen, does any one know why, or do you have the same problem?

How? I have an idea of how dynamic contrast works. The backlight simply brightens and darkens depending on how light or dark the colors are on the screen. Problem is dark scenes become too dark and light scenes become too bright and everything looks washed out.

I want to know how to turn dynamic contrast ratio off because I’m happy with the true contrast ratio.
Doesn`t OPC just adjust the backlight according to the lighting conditions the TV detects in your room. That`s not the same as dynamic contrast

If both are for sale at same price, which would you choose?
