So my flat screen was working perfectly when one day last week, I turned it on and there is all these vertical lines all across the screen! (looks like a bad cable connection). Just looks like a bad resolution or something but I didn’t touch it. I tried with my DVD player and the picture is the same as well. Can anyone help me?
Recently while I was moving to my new place, i broke my Sharp Aquos 32″ lc32d42u screen, so I was wondering if i could buy one of the Sharp Aquos 32″s on ebay to replace my broken screen, even though that they have different model numbers. And if this is possible, what tools/techniques would be required to do this procedures.
i’ve built computers before and consider my self tech savy…but i already spent $800 on this TV and cant afford afford a new one; would this project require soldering or will everything just click into place? unless model #s do matter, then i cant really do much..
They are both on sale right now for the same price in canada so im gonna get one. which one is better? pls help me!! ..
i am worried about them being widescreen? does that mean the picture will have that black stripe now if i dont get HD cable? i just want it to look normal 32 inches. im not a tech person and dont like widescreen dvds on my regular tv… can someone explain this in layman terms thanks!!

I’m trying to get my head around this.. I bought a Sharp LCD LC-37SB24U but I saw online that the LC-37D44U is cheaper. The second is an Aquos and the first one is not, but they have exactly the same specs and design.. It seems that the only difference is the AQUOS mark on the TV.. Can anyone solve this mystery?

I just bought a 1080p hdtv 52′ sharp aquos tv and I also have a hdtv cable box. I hooked it up through an hdmi cable and when i go to any channel even hdtv channels and press display it says 1080i am I doing something wrong. It didnt say anything on how to change it to 1080p in the manual, is there a way to change it. Thanks.

It’s a Sharp AQUOS 32″ 720p LCD HDTV. It says it has ATSC/QAM/NTSC Tuners. But the format in Australia is PAL. Will it still work?
