LCD Advice

i know the difference is jus the model name, but is there any difference in specs..like better picture of thinner model or something?

My son wanted me to ask this question for him so here I go,

At his dad’s house, he has a PS3 with the HDMI cable that hooks up to a Sharp Aquos TV.

At his mom’s house she has a Sony Tube TV that has no HDMI input.

The PS3 works fine at his dad’s house with the HDMI cable, but at his mom’s he sets it up normally without the HDMI cable and he goes on every input and his PS3 screen won’t show up.

Also, when he first used the HDMI cable, the PS3 had asked him about the HDMI cable and to switch some settings, and he did.

So do the settings on the PS3 have to be changed before going to his mom’s house without the HDMI?

HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!

I am looking to buy a new LCD but I am not sure what to buy. I am looking for one with a couple HDMI and something over 10,000 contrast ratio. Which would you get and why?

I bought a Sharp Aquos (LC 46D64U) LCD TV but now I have doubts about the seller. What if they put a refurbished TV into a brand new TV box? Is there a way to find it out from the serial number?
