I’m looking for a 52” HD LCD and i’m deciding which LCD brand i should buy……
Sony - KLV-52V440A
Samsung - LA52A650A1R
Sharp - LCD-52RX1
Right now i’m not taking the price/value into consideration… just which of the three is best…
So what do you guys recommend?~
Dr.Plasma.com is selling a Sharp Aquos LC32D64U 32 1080P LCD HDTV for $794.99. Is this a good deal? Also, they are selling a DIGICOM - HDMI - HIGH PERFORMANCE 24 kt Gold TIP HDMI CABLE for like $200. Why is this so expensive? Do I really need it?
I’ve found a good deal on two different 32″ LCD TVs. The price is about the same, so I just want the better one. I’m looking at a Sharp LC-32SB24U (it doesn’t say Aquos, I don’t know if that matters) and a JVC LT32EX38. I looked on Consumer Reports and they have the same repairs and reliability ratings, so I guess I just want to know which has better picture and such. The Sharp has brightness of 450 cd/m2, while the JVC has 500. The JVC has 1200:1 contrast ratio, and the Sharp only gives its dynamic contrast ratio as 7500:1.
Please help me out. These deals end tonight.
I have one and while it doesn’t have a computer monitor input, it does have RGB composite inputs so I’d like to know if I can possiobly get an adapter cable to use it with a PC? Thanks
I’ve found some great deals on the Sharp Aquos 32″ LCD HDTV LC-C3234U but I’m having a very hard time finding reviews for it. I don’t think this model is made anymore. Has anybody ever had this tv model before? Or know someone who has? Call me stupid, but it comes with NTSC/ATSC/QAM Tuners. What do those tuners do? and does it need an HD tuner/box to get that crisp image?
My dad has a Sharp Aquos series HD tv connected to Charter cable box. The box is connected to the tv via component cables. Whenever he switches to HD mode the tv will lose about an inch of viewing from both the top and bottom of the tv.
I verified the tv is in the default viewing mode and that it’s not being stretched. Any ideas?
I am looking at 46″ and either 52″ or 65″. I am looking at high quality and I don’t want it to be out dated in a month, but also good value. I have looked at Sharp Aquos quite a bit but I know nothing about the others. I know someone out there has done their homework!! (Please, NO Vizio.)

I am currently using a 42″ Sharp Aquos 720p LCD TV for gaming. And I am using the component cable that came with the XBOX 360. I have the HDMI output on mine and I was wondering if the picture and sound would be better if I used the HDMI. If I should use HDMI, which cable would be better-1.2 or 1.3?
We are going to get a sharp 32 Aquos 1080P TV, will this work well with a PS3 and is this possible to mount on the wall. It wont break the TV will it? Thank You !!! :)))))
