So i think i’m finally going to buy a big-screen HDTV. I’ve done some research, and think a 32” is right for me, as they’re a lot cheaper than the larger ones, and i don’t have a lot of space…although i could probably fit a bigger screen. Anyways, i’ve narrowed it down to three choices: the Sony 32” Bravia L Series LCD HDTV (KDL32L4000), the LG 32” LCD HDTV (32LG30), and the Samsung 32” Series 4 LCD HDTV (LN32A450). All of these TVs are in the same pirce range, and all are LCD 720p. The Samsung has a 10,000:1 contrast ratio, the LG has a 12,000:1 contrast ratio, but the Sony only has a 2000:1 contrast ratio. I’d be using this TV mainly for Xbox 360 and PS3 gaming, and Blu-Ray/HD-DVD, and Standard Definition DirecTV, and regular DVDs. Which TV, out of the three, has the best contrast ratio? Is a bigger contrast ratio better? There just seems to be such a big difference between the Sony’s contrast ration, and the other two’s. Which contrast ratio is better?
Thanks!!
