LCD Advice

I bought an Logitech surround system for my computer. Now I have a 52″ Sharp Aquos LCD TV. They say the speakers dont work well when played loud and you should purchase a surround system. Will this work. If not What should I buy to get the best out of my PS3 and Blue ray movie, 7.1, 5.1. Thank you.

I have a Sharp Aquos 1080p LCD set and I’m not sure I’m getting the best picture that my set could give me. Are there any hints for those of newbie HD status? Is there any way to ensure your set is calibrated correctly?

I just got a 42inch LCD Sharp Aquos LCD TV from Dell. I have had it connect to my Wii, VCR, DVD player, and IO HD Cable box for a month or so. Yesterday I was moving my TV and setting up the progressive scan on my DVD player. I set the DVD player to progressive and played a DVD. I was fine. I then moved my tv back into place and turned it off.

When I got back home and turned on the TV the screen was snowy, like the cable had no signal. I checked my connections and they were all fine. I turned off the TV and then back on. You then could see the cable picture but it was still snowy in front of it. I then got nervous, thinking I FUNKED my TV and unplugged it for a minute. When I plugged it in it worked 100%.

DId I momentarily through off the TV picture and it will be fine going forward or is my TV FUNKED up? It cost me $1365 total, so if it is a bad unit the Sharp HQ is 10 minutes from my home in NJ. Thanks.

My 2 yr old hit the panal with a drumstick and left the panal with a cracked imagehe panal is the one thing the warranty does NOT cover. It would cost almost as much as the TV to fix by manufacturer.

i have a Sharp Aquos Widescreen LCD TV. and i want to hook up my PS3 to it and i wanted to know if this cable will fit the tv.

i have a ps3 that i usually connect with the red yellow and white rca jacks to an older tv. i brought the system to my friends house to play on his 52″ sharp aquos lcd. i succesfuly used the hdmi cable to plug into the tv but when i got home with it it wouldnt allow me to use it on my regular tv i also tried with several different “tube” tvs but no sucess. it still connects to the sharp but that doesnt help. i tried using the sharp to change the settings but it autodetects and resets it for hdmi. any and all help is aprecciated thanks! –seth

i just got my ps3 and im playing mlb 08 the show, and when i swing its reacting late. im playing on a sharp aquos hdtv without a hdmi cord yet but im getting one. will this have affect on it?does anyone know why its not working? PLEASE HELP! 10 POINTS BEST ANSWER!

i have 2 xfx 9800 gx2 running in sli mode. In running my games such as crysis, ut3, gears of war etc., my display goes blank and my HDTV (used 1024X768 resolution on all games) goes to sleep, but i can assure that it is running because i can here the sound of the game from the speakers(system is still ON). Please advise on what to do?

It loads all game intro and then goes blank and the power led will blink.
