LCD Advice

When I hook up my PS3 w/ the Sharp Aquos the quality is not Blue Ray. I have a HDMI cable connected from the PS3 to the TV to video 2 but I get sound but no picture and the screen reads HD 1080i. On video 4 I get picture and sound but not HD quality and reads 480 resolution. Why is this and how do I hook up my PS3 so I can benefit from the HD/Blue Ray quality? Also i can’t seem to change the TV from 1080i to 1080p. How do I do this?

I was playing snes for the first time in years…

I got pissed at the game and tossed my controller to the ground (not even that hard) and it bounced and hit my tv. (really pretty lightly, and the snes controllers are virtually weightless)

anyways, the screen turned black with a green crack in it…it looks perfect when turned off still, but thats all I see when I turn it on.

Any suggestions? How much will this cost to fix? I just got it like 4 months ago (sharp aquos 46 inch)
