I found a good deal on a Sharp - AQUOS 37″ 1080p LCD HDTV
Model: LC-37D62U, and I was wondering if it’s a good upgrade from my 27″ Westinghouse 1080i/720p LCD HDTV.

Hi, i have a ps3 hooked up to a display mentioned above using a HDMI connection. i understand that by using HDMI the tv can upscale a lower definition game to 1080. whenever i turn on my ps3 and i’m at the menu it starts off as 1080 and when i run a game it goes to 720. If im wrong about the upscaling then i have 1080 compatible games that still run at 720.
i got a 42in aquos sharp tv. i plugged my ps2 into it and pressed input1 and i also tried all the other inputs, i can only here it!
Do Ps2 games really look better running on a Ps3 or do they look exactly the same? I have a (fat) Ps2 and a 60 gig Ps3. I would be running games on a 1080p 42″ Sharp Aquos.
I have Sharp Aquos TV which has very few input options. I bought a VGA SVGA DB15 Male to RGB TV Out RCA Adapter Cable to connect my laptop to it (to display the computer screen on the TV). Once connected, at best I get flickering, mostly pink static on the TV but mostly not even that.
Is there going to be any way to connect them?
