LCD Advice

I have a 21 in Samsung Wide screen LCD screen and a 19 in Normal Sony Monitor. I have them dueled. the samsung is my main one and the sony is my seconded on for my email to the left of the samsung. when they are dueled it auto spans it to the right. thus i have to move my mouse to the right of the samsung in order to get to the sony on the left. Is it possible to change the right to the left? so i can scroll left to go left not right to go left?

Vizio is significantly less expensive than others such as Samsung, etc. Does Vizio have good LCD TVs? Are they worth it? We can’t decide which to get, but saving money is always a plus - only if the brand is still good. Advice please!!

There are alot of brands and Models in the market. Any specific one which I should buy Like LG,Samsung,Asus…etc

i bought a samsung 17″ LCD monitor (widescreen) ..
I’ve been reading about refresh rates… LCD monitor’s refresh rate is bound to 60 hz …. can i increase it ? …

here’s another question… when i played GTA san andreas, the maximum screen resolution was only 800×600x32…
but when i play gta on crt monitors i can increase my resolution more than 800×600x32…
is that the advantage of crt monitors?..

im considering between a 32″ samsung 780p lcd and a 32″ sharp aquos 1080p. ive seen both of them side by side at bestbuy… im not sure if they were on the same settings, but the samsung looked a bit better.

is there any disadvantage to getting the 720 vs 1080? im mostly into movies, network tv, and playstation 3 games. the room im putting it in is pretty small; i estimate about 8′ of space between myself and the tv.

can anyone recommend a particular tv brand and model? preferably below $1400…

i do really need a 32″… i think anything above will be overkill in the small room… the habitable area is only about 9′x9′
what are the negative effects of using 720p with a playstation 3?

today i bought a 26 inch samsung lcd tv, i love it and have it mounted on the wall.

I also purchased a cable to connect my ps2 to the tv, by component cables. When i turn it on, the tv says “mode not supported”. How can i make this work?
i do not have the 3 colored connections on my ps2, only the special plug in.

the cabl ei have is intended to be used for a ps2, ps3, xbox 360 and a wii. the component end had 5 different plugs, which i inserted into the corresponding spot.

as per your suggestion, i tried to plug the red blue and yellow only into the holes, and it would come on, but the screen would be shaking an dflickering really badly and it will keep saying checking for signal.

I like to play age of mythology, but on my Samsung syncmaster 932b (5ms response time, not sure which type eg. gtg) when i put the mouse to the edge of the screen and the map moves, the picture blurs as it moves. There is no ghosting that i can see, but it is a bit blurred. Is this normal for fast response LCDs? Thanks

I know NOTHING about surround sound. I consistently watch movies on both Blu Ray and HD DVD and sports, and play PS3 and Xbox 360. I also do not have a stereo system to play CDs in my living room or my ipod. Can someone make a recommendation? I dont want to spend that much if I dont have to but I will spend it if the quality is worth it. I have high ceilings and bamboo flooring. Thanks!
